Admission Prices: The details include information on the admission prices if entry is not free ( F) . Where admission charges apply there is indication on whether they are low (L under £3) medium (M between £3 – £6) or high ( H above £6). Visitor should note that admission charges may change

Opening Hours: These vary widely but places with the letter S are open at least five days a week and between 10am & 4pm or later.. In London some of these Royal homes are usually open at the weekend. Establishments with the letter ‘R’ are open at restricted times and you will need to check the website for detail of these. Places with the letter B are only open on a ‘by appointment’ basis. For many of these places it may be necessary to make an appointment sometimes several days before your visit.
