Ticket Prices
1.5 million of the tickets available will cost £50 or less wth around half a million of these tickets e priced at £20 or below. 60 of these sessions offer special prices. 33 of them are for football games and the rest are in the other sports.
Ticket Limits
Generally people can apply for up to six tickets in one session and a for ticket up to 3 sessions. However larger applications can be made for Football, Volleyball and Race Walk.
Tickets That Are Not Available:
Athletics (Marathon), Badminton, Canoe Slalom, Ceremonies, Cycling (BMX), Cycling (Mountain Bike, Men), Cycling (Road), Cycling (Track), Diving, Equestrian (Eventing), Equestrian (Jumping), Gymnastics (Artistic), Gymnastics (Rhythmic), Gymnastics (Trampoline), Modern Pentathlon, Shooting, Swimming, Swimming (Marathon), Tennis, Triathlon, Water Polo
Ticket Application Procedure
Sales up until 6pm on 3rd July are be open only to those people who applied UNSUCCESFULLY for tickets in the first round of ticket sales which took place between 15 March and 26 April
From 6am on 8th July to 6pm on 17 July. applicants who were able to purchase tickets in the first round of sales will be able to apply for further tickets
Award Of Tickets
Applications for tickets will bve awarded on a first come first serve basis.
Applicants will be notified as to whether their ticket application has been successful between 24 and 48 hours after it being submitted. Payment for any tickets awarded will be taken from their account in the week commencing the 8th July

Third Round Of Tickets
A third round of ticket sales in some sports and at a range of prices categories, will be open tothe British public from December 2011. Current estimates are that around im tickets will become available mostlt sourced from returns and assitional seating capacity in areas presently reserved for media coverage etc. However has nearly two million people made 22.5 million applications for tickets in the first round of sales and 1500 ballots were held to allocate the tickets to the over subsctibed sessions the availbilty is likely to be very limited.
Other Ticket Opportunities
Other opportunities for the people in the UK will become available The London 2012 Ticketshare scheme will give 130,000 schoolchildren access to the Olympic Games with tickets being donated by the Prestige corporate hospitality sales. The Ticketshare scheme has resulted in tickets being donated to ‘Tickets for Troops’ which are being distributed by the Armed Forces, the British Olympic Association and Sport England.
Other tickets will be given away by some of the sponsors of the olympic games who jold 8% ofall tickets.. These tickets will me available through competitions and media campaigns . The Worldwide Olympic Partners ie sponsors of London 2012 Olympic Games are Coca-Cola, Acer, Atos Origin, Dow Chemical Company, GE, McDonald’s, Omega, Panasonic, Procter and Gamble, Samsung and Visa.
Olympic Park Tickets

Tickets: Pricing Structure
Ticket prices for the 2012 London Olympic Games vary from one sport to another. Admission prices for the most popular sports such as athletics and swimming are more expensive than less popular disciplines such as canoeing or. wrestling..
Admission to each competition or sport is divided into chargeable ‘sessions’. These sessions last for a predetermined time. The number of sessions available for a visitor to view an individual sport depends on the number of competitors for each event.. Sports with a large number of competitors such as basketball may be divided into three session in one day. Other sports such as the pentathlon may only involve one or two sessions.
The ticket price for each sport’s each session are generally cheaper in sessions which feature preliminary rounds. Ticket prices usually increase as each competition progresses thus sessions which include bronze silver and gold medals events are the more expensive. Sessions that include medal ceremonies are usually the most expensive. The dates and session times for individual sport are given via the links in the column on the right hand side of this page.
Standard Ticket Prices 2012 London Olympic Games

Generally a range of ticket prices for are available each session (see above). Depending on the sport and the venue these ticket prices may be divided into up to six categories. Tickets categorised as ‘AA’ tickets are determined as the very best seats Other tickets are categorised as being for ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’ or ‘E seats – the principle here is that earlier the alphabetical denomination the better the seat. When purchasing your ticket you should identify which category of ticket you are buying. Important Note: At the venues of some sports such as the ‘tennis’ at wimbledon or ‘shooting’ at Woolwich Barracks were general passes are purchased seating for some matches or events may be limited..

Discounted / Reduced Prices For Children & People Over 60 / Other Special Offers
Reduced tickets at the London Olympics for children teenager under 16 and adults over 60 are available for most events. These tickets are known by the organisers as the ”Pay Your Age’ Scheme. Anyone aged 16 or under at the start of the games can apply for a ticket to a session where this offer is available. The cost of the ticket will be their actual age on July 27th 2012. Similarly adults over 60 on the same date can apply for a ticket to a session where this offer is available. The cost of the ticket for an adult over 60 is 16 GBP.
There are 1.3 million seats available at 200 sessions under the ‘Pay Your Age Scheme. The majority of the tickets are available in the early stages of competitions and for some sports the availability is very limited. However some seats are available at the the latter stages of some competitions. These availability of these and other special offers which may be available is shown by the ‘yes’ comment under the special offers in the londonmost.info matrix below. How To Apply For Tickets For Any Event / Session At The London Olympics
Around 6.5m million tickets for seats at 2012 Olympics will be available. These tickets will be available through official channels from initially March 15th 2011 until 25th April 2011. As tickets are not issued on a first come first serve basis for some events and dates you will have to take part in a ballot for the tickets if ticket applications oversubscribe availability
Approved Ticketing Agency & Partners For The 2012 London Olympic Games
The approved standard ticket agency for the 2012 Games is ‘Ticketmaster’ Other partners include tour operators Thomas Cook & US based JSS (Jet Set Sports). The approved corporate / hospitality partner is the Anglo French PTL (Prestige Ticketing Limited).
Other established companies may also offer tickets for games but you should check their authenticity before purchasing tickets with them.
Fraudulent Tickets & Fraudulent Websites Warning:.
Anyone who is offered tickets before they are officially on sale should be aware that they are highly likely to be forgeries. Equally once ticket sales have opened be aware of fraudulent websites purporting to offer tickets. These sites are likely to ask for full or part-payment of the price they askin g for the ticket.
Important Note: For Non UK Residents
People applying for tickets from outside of the United Kingdom will need to go their local national Olympic committee where tickets will go on sale from March15th 2011. These tickets may cost up to 20& more than the GBP prices
